Here we come

Treehouse Retreat

We had planned a post-election escape to a treehouse in Sonoma as a way to unwind and relax after the last few months. It ended up being a perfect place to reflect on “what’s next.”

Tribune Tower

Transport Oakland organized another awesome tour of a historic Oakland building. The Tribune Tower has one of the only neon clockfaces in the world, originally built in 1923 and now maintained by John Law, one of the founders of Burning Man.

16th Street Station

Ruth arranged a private tour of this beautiful old station with TransportOakland. It used to be the end of the transcontinental railroad, now it’s a sign of the new town.

Eastern Sierras

Visited Karen at her dude ranch for a surprise Fourth of July.

Yosemite in Spring

Went to Yosemite to catch the lighting of the Horsetail Falls at sunset.
