Ruth booked a groupon for this adventure nearly a year ago, and we had to use it before it expired, so we had back-to-back outdoor weekends. Lots of fun drinking wine and charging rapids in gold country.

Bought photos for an exorbitant price from a photography company on the shore, so I had some fun with iMovie turning them into a commercial for California.

Headed up the coast for Memorial Day, renting a “cabin” with Maude and some friends. Went for a hike at Gold Bluff beach up a fern covered canyon that was used to film some scenes in the lost world. Enjoyed the jacuzzi at night, keeping warm in the fog.
