Family came to California for the holidays and experienced a lovely snowstorm in the Sierras.
Took a mid-week jaunt back up to Modoc to stay at the Little Mt Hoffman fire lookout and explore the Lava Beds National Monument.
After leaving Sedona, we drove north to the Grand Canyon to see it in winter. There wasn’t much snow at the rim, but the cold air made for clear photographs and a brisk walk on the rim.
