I’m taking a break from work for a family trip to visit Hannah in Morocco.

I’m not usually much into Christmas, being more of a winter solstice celebrant. But this year I’m feeling a little disconnected from family and friends back home. Luckily, we are doing all the things that keep us in the holiday spirit.

One of the most striking things you see driving around this city is the revolutionary graffiti on walls, underpasses, and columns. The new flag is everywhere, and Gaddafi caricatures are quite popular.
