One of the most striking things you see driving around this city is the revolutionary graffiti on walls, underpasses, and columns. The new flag is everywhere, and Gaddafi caricatures are quite popular. It’s not all professionally done, some is clearly amateur work, but it’s inspiring to see the creative output of a people so long constrained. And it’s a nice counterpoint to the martyr billboards.
