Another ski weekend and road trip, this time to British Columbia. Revelstoke is five hours from Calgary, and because I missed my flight I got to do the drive by myself. Tim Hortons and cheesy-puffs got me through, and I got an extra day of sightseeing in the mountains.
The weather was pretty variable, rain at the bottom and wet snow at the top. Rogers Pass was closed for avalanche control when I planned to drive back on Sunday, and I had to delay my return flight to Monday. Next year, we’ll have to come in February, when the air is cold and the snow is light.
