It’s smokey everywhere in California, so we drove 8 hours to the Oregon coast for some socially distanced camping, paddling and oyster eating.
We camped near Coos Bay, which had the best air quality on the West Coast. The slough was lovely to paddle in, and the coastal fog was refreshing after the heat in the valley.
Heading back, we stopped by Mt Shasta to camp and visit Burney Falls.
